 | What is a Campus Manager? |
A Campus Manager is the key contact between the students on his campus and Total.
As active participants in the program, Campus Managers have the possibility to pass on information to their fellow students concerning the various events organised by Total throughout the year, such as:
For that, you have access throughout the year to all our communication campaigns: posters, flyers, emails to hand out to your fellow students. You also get the possibility to organize a presentation of the Group at a lecture hall on campus with the help of your Campus Ambassador.
A few events organised last year:
Some 30 conferences/actions were organised on various topics, ranging from our Exploration and Production, Chemistry, and Marketing business lines to Finance. Including a great initiative: the organisation of a conference-debate at Arts et Métiers ParisTech, with the exceptional presence of Christophe de Margerie, Total's CEO.
Visits of Total sites. For example the visit of the Refinery in Donges, was jointly organised by several Campus Managers from schools in Nantes and the one of the Refinery in Feyzin was jointly organised by Campus Managers of Mines de St Etienne and CPE Lyon to enable their fellow students to learn about our business lines from the inside.
Suggesting topics for their thesis project to some students from Mines de Nantes who worked in groups during a semester. The thesis project was: optimising order management for European service stations in the Total network.
To be a Campus Manager is the opportuniy to show your fellow students our range of business lines by original actions. Today Total represents 9,000 new recruits and more than 4,000 internships and 150 I.C.V/I.R.V each year!
